Jazz & Image Festival, one of the most anticipated summer events, is back in Rome, in the breathtaking location of Parco del Celio, right in front of the Colosseum. Until October 15, the Eternal City will host nearly three months of programming filled with live music, culture and entertainment, all with free admission. This unique jazz festival in Rome is not only dedicated to jazz lovers but also to anyone who wishes to enjoy live music in Rome under the stars. From morning until late at night, the festival offers a vibrant schedule: jazz concerts, dance performances, book presentations, cultural talks, and even dedicated blues evenings with two special showcases. One of the highlights of the program is Il Suono delle Parole (The Sound of Words), curated by Valeria Saggese. This section welcomes renowned authors and artists who, through literature, non-fiction, and social themes, reflect on the central concept of this year’s edition: “sound.” Food and drink will also play a key role. Visitors can enjoy an all-day restaurant service with Colosseum view, featuring brunch, lunch, dinner and the iconic Roman aperitivo. Imagine sipping a cocktail or tasting local specialties while watching the sunset over the most iconic monument in the world. The artistic direction is curated by Alexanderplatz Jazz Club’s Eugenio Rubei, with the support of the Department of Culture of Rome, the Sound Image Cultural Association and Zètema Progetto Cultura.
