Emotion. Contemporary art tells the story of emotions

Chiostro del Bramante hosts the exhibition “Emotion. Contemporary art tells the story of emotions”, curated by Danilo Eccher. Over 20 works on display for a real journey through emotions.

The exhibition

The exhibition “Emotion. Contemporary art tells the story the emotions” at Chiostro del Bramante until September 29 is a real emotional journey.

The path begins with a large mushroom designed by Carsten Höller, as well as the famous fairy tale Alice in Wonderland, arousing a surprise effect in the visitor. It is the first of the feelings that will involve the visit, which creates a sort of labyrinth, where rooms represent a world themselves connected to an emotion: joy, desire, anticipation, fear, tranquility, to name a few.

The public will not only have the opportunity to admire the works, but will be personally involved, so that their moods become part of the exhibition itself. The exhibition is an explosion of colors and twists, which lead to emotional reflections.

From the sense of disorientation in front of the imaginary cathedrals by Piero Pizzi Cannella we move on to the wonder of his Picta room inspired by Raphael, from the cardboard architecture of Eva Jospin, to the dream landscapes created through pop drawings by Paul Morrison. We then move on to the world of imagination with Batman by Adrian Tranquilli, who seems to emerge forcefully from the wall. Finally, the public’s curiosity falls on Matt Collishaw‘s still lifes, created with the help of artificial intelligence.
