Palazzo Bonaparte hosts Jago. The Exhibition until the 3rd of July 2022. On display the works by the contemporary artist and sculptor Jago, known throughout the world as “The Social Artist”.
Among the 12 works on display we find Memoria di Sé to Excalibur, a series of sculpted river stones; more recent works such as the Pietà and more mediatic works, including Habemus Hominem, which show the modern genius of the sculptor and the great link between tradition and contemporary.
The figure of the Pontiff emeritus joins Venus, devoid of the usual ideals of perfection and youthful beauty, while the Veiled Son shows the present and its tragedies, linked to the pain depicted in the Pity.
