This famous acclamation to the actor who acted in “The Gladiator” will be remembered by those who want to immerse in history and bring back to life emotions that date back two thousand years ago, today, for a day, on the “regina viarum”, Via Appia Antica.
Gruppo storico romano, in collaboration with gladiators of the Gladiatori School in Rome, organizes lessons during which it will be possible to unleash the imagination stimulated by the movie and impersonate the truly existed Spartacus for a day, wearing real armor, simulating a fight against fierce lions and armed warriors. Recommended for children older than 12 years.
EXPLORA. SCIENCE OR GAME?
The children museum in Rome – Via Flaminia 82, 00196 Rome
The Explora Museum is a museum entirely dedicated to kids, in which they are free to choose the activities that help them to develop their creativity through educational entertainment. They can play the fireman, the farmer, the banker, or the baker in the suggestive Officina in Cucina. There are also spaces dedicated to environmental education, ecology and recycling through tactile paths and game areas for little explorers.
In August the museum is closed.
BIO PARK. ANIMALS FROM THE WORLD

A very original place to visiti is the Rome zoo where, besides animals, there are many spaces dedicated to the environmental education. Lions, elephant and monkeys: a direct contact with a forgotten world. Bioparco is between the 18 hectares of Villa Borghese and it is full of indoor and outdoor games, restaurants and pic-nic areas. The kids will be very connected to the nature. Big reptile house with crocodiles and a big space with herons, storks and other birds.
