Claude Monet – Van Gogh: the immersive experience arrives in Rome, at the ex Caserma Guido Reni. Thanks to augmented reality, the visitor will find himself immersed in the works of the two great artists, surrounded by landscapes, atmospheres and colors of the paintings.
The exhibition is divided into four stages.
As a first scenario we find reproductions of the main works of Monet, where the visitor can be transported in the sceneries of the artist, being surrounded by a highly evocative landscape, managing to capture its beauty.
We then move on to the second moment, where the visitor, thanks to the augmented reality, will find himself in the favorite landscapes of Monet, such as poppies, views of Bordighera and the station, a recurring theme of his works.
Crossing the bridge of flowers, we arrive at the third stage dedicated to Vincent Van Gogh, with reproductions of his most famous works, experimenting with the various phases of his existence: from the early works of peasant painting, through the first works dedicated to Impressionism, from the relationship with Gauguin until his death in Auvers-Sur-Oise in 1890.
Leaving the room, you reach the last step of the journey, the second in augmented reality. The visitor will experience a day in the life of the artist, marked by a succession of seven of his works: from dawn to dusk in the body of the painter, in the village of Arles, France.
