Chiostro del Bramante presents the exhibition CRAZY – Madness in contemporary art, from the 19th of February 2022 to the 8th of January 2023.
From the 19th of February 2022 to the 8th of January 2023, Chiostro del Bramante will host the exhibition CRAZY – Madness in contemporary art. The exhibition project curated by Danilo Eccher is a real hymn to creativity.
21 international artists of international and over 11 new installations will invade all the available spaces (both interior and exterior) of the museum, for an immersive experience that does not follow any pre-established path. Madness, like art, is limitless, beyond any scheme.
The result is a subjective narrative that materializes in works characterized by great expressive power, such as the pigment flowing on the stairs by the English abstract artist Ian Davenport, the environment by Gianni Colombo (1970) or the neon of Alfredo Jaar, also visible from the outside. Among the other artists, there will be Carlos Amorales, Massimo Bartolini, Gianni Colombo, Petah Coyne, Janet Echelman and Lucio Fontana.
